CDA Reviews Islamabad Special Technology Zone Plan
Islamabad, Sept 29, 2025 — The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has reviewed the master plan for a 141-acre Special Technology Zone (STZ) in Islamabad to promote tech growth and investment.
Chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa with STZA officials, the meeting discussed setting up a technology park, high-tech units, and commercial/residential areas. Incentives like tax exemptions will be offered to attract investors.
A joint working group will oversee progress, with officials highlighting the zone’s role in positioning Islamabad as a future tech hub and creating new jobs.
